A Complete Beginner’s Guide Lab-grown diamonds , also known as synthetic diamonds, are diamonds created through scientific processes that replicate the natural formation of diamonds. Unlike mined diamonds, which take millions of years to form, lab-grown diamonds are produced in a matter of weeks.
